From 1 January 2026, Bulgaria adopts the euro as its official currency.
For us at Jump.BG, our priority is to make this transition completely transparent and seamless for you.
Since we began our technical preparations at the start of 2025, our systems are already in their final stage of readiness. We guarantee that the change will not affect our contractual relationships, nor will it create any risk for your business processes.
Our Commitments to You
- Fair currency conversion: We use the official fixed exchange rate of 1 € = 1.95583 BGN. No hidden fees, mark-ups or rounding against the client's interest.
- Accurate rounding: Final amounts are calculated to two decimal places, strictly following mathematical rules.
- No change to terms: Contracts, service parameters and support quality remain fully unchanged.
IMPORTANT: Technical Window (30.12.2025 – 02.01.2026)
To ensure a safe switch of our systems to the new currency, there may be temporary restrictions on website functionality during the period from 30 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. This may result in a temporary inability to make online payments, submit new service requests or access up-to-date information about your services in the client portal.
We recommend taking the following steps before 29 December 2025:
- Secure your active services: Check for any unpaid invoices due at the end of the month and pay them early. Plan your payments in advance to avoid any disruption from the new currency implementation process.
- Renew expiring domains: Pay special attention to your domains. If any are due to expire around New Year, renew them now. This is critically important to avoid your site going offline or ownership issues during the technical pause.
- Act proactively: If you are planning new projects or changes to your hosting plan, do so now. Orders for new domains and hosting services placed before this date will be processed smoothly and without delay.
Timeline of the Change
Until 31 December 2025: All payments are made in Bulgarian lev. During this period you will see dual pricing (in lev and euro) for your information.
From 1 January 2026 — Introduction of the euro: The euro becomes the official currency. Since Jump.BG operates entirely digitally, all online payments with us switch directly to euros.
Important note on payments: Jump.BG will not accept mixed payments. Each invoice must be settled entirely in one currency — in lev (until 31.12.2025) or in euros (from 01.01.2026).
After 1 February 2026: The transition period ends and the euro becomes the sole payment currency. Dual price display (for information purposes) will continue until August 2026.
